Stefanos Tsitsipas got the better of Jannik Sinner

April 25, 2021by Samuel Salimon

As we earlier predicted Tsitsipas was the better player when he met Sinner in the semi-final match of the ATP tour Barcelona Open on Saturday afternoon.

The Greek player dominated the game from the beginning to the very end by taking the first and second set 6 – 3, 6 – 3.

He will return to the final of the Barcelona Open again having made a major breakthrough by reaching the competition final in his maiden ATP Tour championship.

Tsitsipas win against Sinner means he has now won ten of his twelve matches at the Real Club de Tenis Barcelona 1899.

The 5th ranked tennis player in the world will face off with Rafael Nadal in the final game of the Barcelona Open.

Nadal, on the other hand, defeated Pablo Carrëno Busta 6 – 3, 6 – 2 to book a spot in the final with Tsitsipas.
