Another Loss at Home for PSG and they Slump to a defeat by fellow Title Contender, Lille

April 4, 2021by Samuel Salimon

Lille took back the first position from Paris St-Germaine on the Ligue 1 table after defeating the Les Parisiens on Saturday after Jonathan David goal. The match ended 1-0 in favour of Lille.

However, the night’s highlight was when the officiating referee sent Neymar off at the last minute.

In the first half of the match, Jonathan David scored to put Lille on 66 points with seven matches to play in the league, three in front of PSG, who was dull all through the game.

Before the end of the match, Neymar picked up a second yellow card to push Tiago Djalo, who responded with an indecent tirade and was also shown a red card.

Monaco likewise climbed to the third position on 62 points with a 4-0 whipping of Metz.
